Adolfo Domínguez has appointed Tiziana Domínguez González to the newly created role of creative director. She will oversee all creative efforts across all divisions, including menswear, womenswear and accessories.
The Spanish luxury brand said losses improved by €1 million to €1.8 million in the first half of the year, boosted by a change in accounting standards. Sales increased slightly by 0.9% to €52.5 million.
The Spanish fashion brand went from having 544 stores in 2015 to just 391 in 2019. According to its managing director Adriana Dominguez, the rise of online shopping has rendered bricks-and-mortar unnecessary.
“Spain is a highly creative country, with a large number of diverse and highly qualified designers. It is also the place where mass market trends are born,” Modesto Lomba said in an interview with FashionNetwork.com.
