CPM fills up again

The CPM is still making Igedo happy. The organizers of the Moscow trade show, who have trimmed their sails in Germany and put CPI Istanbul on hold, are taking advantage of a growing Russian market over the past few seasons.

For the Moscow event’s next edition, which will take place from September 5 to 8, the show announced an exhibitor list of 620. Some 70 to 80 French brands will make the trip. Besides show regulars such as Didier Parakian, Fuego or Pause Café, many newcomers have come on board: Absorba, Ba&sh, Bain de Nuit, Brigitte Bardo, Little Marcel and Red Soul. The children's wear section is especially growing at the fastest clip. Another 800 square meters exhibition space has been added to the segment dedicated to children's fashion, which for the first time will welcome CWF brands with Boss, Timberland and Billie Blush’s own brand.

The show's many sponsorships and its promotion of “design in” still make Russian exhibitors the majority, but the organizers have managed to develop new sections over the past few seasons. The newest, CPM Body&Beach, is dedicated to lingerie and beachwear with 80 brands exhibiting. The show did already have a lingerie section, but kept it in the background. CPM Fashion&Denim, which celebrates its third edition, has definitely secured its place in the show and will showcase collections from the likes of Desigual, Diesel, Mavi, Pepe Jeans and Kaporal. And finally the show is offering a premium segment, which has lured a number of French brands such as Didier, Ba&sh, Max&Moi and Bleu Blanc Rouge.
