Simpson announced the collection on her Instagram over the weekend saying she was "so excited our line is out today."

The ten-piece capsule includes gender-neutral items such as t-shirts, cashmere sweatshirts, embellished shirts and denim. The line is named after the couple's two-year-old daughter.

Graphics on the pieces incorporate lyrics from the couple's upcoming album "We Do Not Need Permission to Love."

On its e-commerce platform, Zadig & Voltaire states that the collection stands for "love, equality and freedom," explaining that it was created in the image of Simpson and Ross' free and arty love."

Summarizing the capsule, the brand says it is meant "To inspire a message of equality, an independent attitude. Fashion as a living expression of the free spirit they embody in the open air."

On Ashlee Simpson's website, Ross, whose mother is Diana Ross, says a unisex collection is on trend for the evolution of fashion. He says that the couple has been able to "switch clothes really well," and that a unisex collection gives men more options. For her part, Simpson says she has always gravitated towards boys clothing.

The capsule collection is now available on Zadig & Voltaire's site. Price points range from $100 for a shirt to over $600 for a smoking jacket. The couple has alluded to wanting to expand their unisex capsule into a full apparel line in the future.
