Following its arrival in Peru less than a year ago thanks to a partnership with Chilean department store giant Falabella, Urban Decay has arrived in Colombia. The youth-targeted makeup line owned by L’Oreal made its debut in Colombia with its first store in Bogota’s Centro Comercial Andino.

The French cosmetics giant is continually increasing its presence in Latin America, which according to reports make up 15 percent of its global market, meaning its global presence is only slated to grow more.

The Colombian makeup boom has continued across all sectors, with more and more multi-brand concept stores arriving in the country. Nevertheless, Urban Decay has placed its focus on its own exclusive stores, with the goal of opening six stores in Colombia by the end of 2018.

At the same time, M.A.C. has also opened a store in the same Centro Comercial Andino, with the new opening marking the brand’s largest store in Colombia.
