Massimo Dell’Acqua has joined the board of directors of Finos Ltd, the holding company that controls the Trussardi brand. Finos is owned by Tomaso Trussardi (50%), his sister Gaia (25%) and their mother, Maria Luisa Gavazzeni (25%). The Italian fashion label reported in a press release that Dell’Acqua will act as external adviser.

Finos' board of directors is chaired by Marialuisa Trussardi and currently includes Tomaso Trussardi, the CEO, Gaia Trussardi, the label's creative director since 2013 and lawyer Umberto Nicodano, an independent external adviser.

In the press release, the label stated that Massimo Dell'Acqua, an executive with 20 years of experience in the industry, will work with Tomaso Trussardi and the board to implement the group's expansion plan. This will focus notably on Trussardi's multi-channel and digital strategy, on e-commerce and retail sales, as well as on the development of the Trussardi Food division.

Massimo Dell’Acqua, 47, has worked for Percassi, an Italian group specialised in distribution and real estate, for which he managed beauty retailer Kiko for 11 years, before taking charge in December 2015 of Odissea, a Percassi company dedicated to brand management and retail expansion.
