Teva, the footwear brand operated by Decker Brands, has partnered with cult brand and retailer Opening Ceremony for a Spring/Summer 2020 collection.

The collection features three limited-edition footwear styles in five colorways, inspired by "urban explorers" and designed with a "futuristic" aesthetic in mind, the brand said.

The shoes will be released in multiple drops from March to April 2020, kicking off on March 5 with the release of the 'Opening Ceremony x Teva Hurricane Sock.' A socks-with-sandals-inspired footwear silhouette, the shoe is made from Lurex yarns and features hook-and-loop closures with recycled polyester straps. Retailing at $150, the shoe will be available in unisex sizing in two monochromatic colors ways: black and green.

The second drop will include two styles, a 'Flatform Universal' and 'Hurricane XLT2 Gladiator,' and will be released a few weeks after the first drop, the brand said.

The collaboration marks Teva's fourth overall collaboration and first since 2016. It's also the footwear brand's second collaboration with Opening Ceremony, after the two partnered on a footwear collection in 2014.

"When Opening Ceremony first teamed up with Teva in 2014, Carol and I were excited to partner with such an iconic brand that we loved when growing up in California, exploring the outdoors," said Humberto Leon, co-founder of Opening Ceremony.

"With this collection, we wanted to continue taking Teva's innovative, functional designs to create something even bolder than we had before."

The Opening Ceremony x Teva collection will be available at teva.com, openingceremony.com and at select retailers globally. In addition, the collection will be available at Opening Ceremony stores, while they still remain open.

In January, Opening Ceremony announced that it will be closing its retail locations within the year, under its new parent company, New Guards Group.
