The acquisition is expected to help further streamline the selling experience on StockX and help customers around the world grow and scale their operations.

As part of the integration, eligible StockX sellers will receive an invitation to access Scout’s seller technology including automation, inventory management, distribution and pricing tools free of charge. Additionally, customers who previously purchased an annual subscription will receive a prorated refund, while new sellers can sign up and request access to the new tool on Scout’s website.

Scout will continue to operate as an independent service powered by StockX, and enable business sellers to distribute their supply through multiple marketplaces. Scout’s founders and extended team will join StockX as full-time employees and will work to extend the reach of the tool and grow its capabilities.

“StockX is fiercely committed to unlocking economic opportunity for our global community and this acquisition is one of many investments we’re making to ensure we deliver on that promise,” said StockX CEO, Scott Cutler. “With the addition of this new technology, we’ll help our customers accelerate their businesses like never before.”

First launched in 2016, StockX acquired hundreds of thousands of sellers amid the pandemic between March 2020 and April 2021.
