The Seek trade show was, during Berlin Fashion Week, once again a magnet for urban and street style brands. Organisers Premium Group spoke of “three days full of dynamism and networking,” without releasing any specific information about visitor numbers. However, most exhibitors were happy about the show. Highlights included the launch of Seek House 1-3 and the event programme.

“We are very satisfied with the floor plan and the selection of brands. We have made a lot of new contacts and the quality of visitors is excellent. The categorisation is also easy to understand, with the focus being on goods and highlighted collections. Customers also appreciate this. Meanwhile, the well organised outdoor area rounds off the visitor experience,” says Jörg Aumüller from Helly Hansen.

Senior product manager Iris Altmann is also satisfied. With a caravan for a stand, she created one of the most striking showcases at the fair for Burlington. “Seek is the ideal platform for the expressive style of Burlington. Our caravan has received great attention and popularity among visitors. We also received a lot of positive feedback on the Spring/Summer 2018 collection and had promising conversations,” says Altmann to FashionNetwork.

American Sneakers B.V., and its lifestyle brands Keds and Sperry, had also positive feedback: “The trade fair attracts a large number of German and international visitors and exhibitors. This creates an interesting mix,” said Pierre Lefebvre, managing director.

“We are glad to welcome a large number of footwear distributors and present them the latest offering from our brands Keds and Sperry. We have received a lot of positive feedback from our trading partners. The sneaker trend is still going strong and the boat shoe style is experiencing a revival and slowly coming back to the high street,” said Lefebvre about the new season.

Canadian label Herschel Supply, which was represented by Action Sports Sportartikel GmbH, is on its way to becoming a full-line exhibitor at Seek. “The show was very successful for us. We were able to talk to a multitude of national and international distributors, press representatives and other interested parties,” said the German business to FashionNetwork.com.

The upcoming trade fairs from Premium will take place on 16-19 January 2018.
