Roger Vivier has recently appointed Violante Avogadro di Vigliano, formerly of Montblanc, to its newly created global marketing and communications director role. Avogadro di Vigliano will report to Camilla Schiavone, who has served as CEO of the company since 2014.

Formerly the director of public relations and the cultural foundation at Montblanc, Avogadro di Vigliano, who also boasts tenures at Gucci and Ralph Lauren Home, will lead all marketing, digital, and public relations, as well as any partnerships associated with the luxury footwear brand. 

Roger Vivier currently boasts around 40 stores across the globe including Paris, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Peking, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Geneva, London, Milan, New York and Miami. It plans to opens new points of sale in Spain and Germany. 

Purchased at the end of 2015 by luxury Italian group Tod's, Roger Vivier registered revenues of 166.3 million euros in 2016, an increase of 6.6% on the previous year.
