Roberto Cavalli has bowed a new store in Barcelona. Part of the Italmobiliare fold since last year, the Italian luxury label has opened its first store in the Catalan province, located in Barcelona's complex La Roca Village.

The outlet shopping complex La Roca Village is owned by the British group Value Retail, and will be the home of Roberto Cavalli and Just Cavalli collections, selling discounted and full price items.

Roberto Cavalli has opened its second Spanish store, and first outlet in Barcelona

Robert Cavalli already has a flagship at Ortega and Gasset Street in Madrid, as well as two corners in department store El Corte Ingles for its line of kidswear, RC Junior, located in Barcelona and Marbella. It also has three points of sale for its secondary line Just Cavalli, found in the centres of Madrid, Valencia and Marbella.

Roberto Cavalli came to Spain five years ago, opening its first store in the capital city of Madrid.

The Italian brand saw the departure of its former creative director Peter Dundas and the closure of part of its network of stores in late 2016.

In 2015, Roberto Cavalli recorded a drop of 14.2% in turnover, which fell to 179.7 million euros, and a gross operating loss of 1.6 million euros. The forecasts also saw a further decline in sales in the year just closed.
