Luxury resale platform Rebag has announced the opening of its first standalone Rebag Bar, a micro-version of its traditional store, in NYC’s The Shops at Columbus Circle.

Measuring 180 square feet, the Rebag Bar seeks to integrate Rebag’s physical store experience with a number of digital features, offering all of the services that can normally be found at one of the platform’s brick-and-mortar locations in a much tighter footprint.
Customers can both buy and sell items at the micro-store. All of the categories offered by Rebag will be available at the location, including bags, watches, fine jewelry, and accessories. The selection will be curated to reflect the fashion focus of Lincoln Square and the wider Upper West Side neighborhood.

As well as buying the products on show at the location, customers will also be able shop Rebag’s 20,000-item inventory through the platform’s new digital shopping journey.
According to Rebag, visitors wishing to sell their luxury items at the store will be able to do so within 60 minutes, thanks to the platform’s upfront payment system and selling process.
“We are constantly seeking new ways to democratize luxury resale, and this micro concept will achieve exactly that,” said Rebag founder and CEO Charles Gorra in a release.
“Throughout this year, we heard from our customers the need to get closer to them. Covid-19 has reshaped urban and suburban consumer behaviors across the country,” he added. “The nimbleness of this new Rebag Bar format will enable a hyper-local and efficient roll-out, therefore maximizing convenience for customers.”
Rebag currently operates around 10 full-sized brick-and-mortar stores spread over New York, California and Florida.
