The pop-up is located in a 1,400-square-foot space on the corner of Melrose and Orlando. It carries Dundas' second collection, D2, which is an expression of boho chic dresses, caftans, blouses and jumpsuits. His new affordable designer athleisure line, which features graphic logo tees and hoodies adorned with a black panther icon and has been seen incorporated in Beyoncé's Coachella wardrobe, is also being sold at the pop-up.

Speaking of the decision to launch in LA, Dundas told The Hollywood Reporter, "I’ve been very, very lucky in my career to dress some of the most beautiful girls in the world. A lot of them live and work in LA so it was a natural place for me to have the first pop-up."

Before launching his namesake label nine months ago, Dundas served as creative director at Roberto Cavalli, Emilio Pucci and Emanuel Ungaro. He frequently designs for and dresses Hollywood celebrities and musicians, having notably designed Beyoncé's 2017 Grammy Awards performance golden crown costume as well as her ceremony gown.

This is the first branded direct-to-consumer retail experience for Peter Dundas. The line began selling on Moda Operandi in July as well as at Bergdorf Goodman, the Webster Miami and Elyse Walker.

The Peter Dundas pop-up is open in LA through May 5th. It then heads to New York in September, where the label will drop a new collection. Dundas said the pop-up will travel to Europe in the future as well.
