Introduced during fall/winter 2010-2011 Milan Fashion Week, and founded by Alessandro Dell’Acqua  after the designer left his own luxury fashion house, the brand was acquired in 2012 by the company Gilmar, which holds the production licenses for Frankie Morello and Iceberg.

Shop-in-shop in Seoul

No. 21 is currently available in nearly 420 multibrand stores worldwide and has a strong presence in Italy, Russia and the Middle East, and now the brand is moving ahead into the Asian market.

After opening its first flagship store in Tokyo in 2014, N°21 has just announced that it is opening a location in South Korea through an agreement with LF Corporation, a distributor for brands including Isabel Marant, Carven and Leonard.

The brand is opening two shop-in-shops in Seoul in the Shinsegae and Hyundai department stores, which feature marble decorations, wood, aluminum and metal, and are designed by Alessandro Dell'Acqua and architectural firm Hannes Peer.

The spaces will house three of the brand’s lines: woman, men and accessories.
