The Nike Air Max 1 x Cactus Jack sneakers were slated to drop in December, but the company has since pulled the campaign. No new release date has been announced.

“Out of respect for everyone impacted by the tragic events at the Astroworld Festival, we are postponing the launch of the Air Max 1 x Cactus Jack,” Nike said in a statement on their website.

Scott is facing dozens of civil lawsuits following the events that took place at his festival where a crowd surge forced over 300 people to be treated on site for injuries and at least 25 to be hospitalized.

In a statement, Scott said he was "absolutely devastated by what took place." He pledged to work "together with the Houston community to heal and support the families in need."

Scott has previously collaborated with Nike on limited-edition collaborations that sell out quickly. He has also worked with established brands such as McDonald’s, Hot Wheels, Helmut Lang and Saint Laurent. Dior currently has a menswear collaboration with Scott in the works for next season.
