Almost six months after the departure of co-founder and CEO Áslaug Magnúsdóttir, New-York based website Moda Operandi welcomes new boss, Deborah Nicodemus. Previously chief merchandising and marketing officer at Birks & Mayors, a Canadian jewellery group, Nicodemus has also held positions at Donna Karan and distribution company DFS, both of which are owned by LVMH.

Launched in February 2011, Moda Operandi raised $36 million in its second round of fundraising in spring 2012, with investors including Condé Nast, IMG and LVMH.
