Maison Kitsuné is getting ready to launch its first store in the Unites States. On March 29, the French brand is scheduled to open a 200 m² boutique in New York in the new NoMad hotel. The latter was designed by architect Jacques Garcia and can be found in the heart of the historic NoMad neighbourhood, north of Madison Square Park, on the corner of Broadway at 28th Street.

Designed by Masaya Kuroki – designer and co-founder of the French label together with Gildas Loaëc – and designer Anna Vignale, the store’s look was inspired by a Haussmannian-style building. Besides the Maison Kitsuné collections, the boutique will also offer a selection of products from WANT Les Essentiels de la Vie, Monocle, Michel Vivien and Aesop. In order to celebrate the opening, the brand will team up again with one of its former collaborators, French shoe brand J.M. Weston, to create a pair of loafers named ‘New Yorker’. This exclusive model will only be sold at Maison Kitsuné and J.M. Weston stores in New York.

Founded in 2002, Maison Kitsuné currently operates two boutiques in Paris and is sold at around 100 points of sale in Barneys, Opening Ceremony and Bergdorf Goodman in New York, Dover Street Market in London, Isetan in Tokyo and Lane Crawford in Hong Kong.
