Selfridges has opened a silver-themed Reselfridges pop-up at the London flagship store until 8 January. It's part of the fashion retailer’s wider Project Earth mission "to change the way people shop".

The Selfridges Corner Shop has been transformed into a “silver wonderland. It’s filled with exclusive pieces from its pre-loved rental and Project Earth edits” with each item carrying eco-credentials.

It’s the department store’s last Corner Shop pop-up of the year and it will focus on a curation of pre-owned, vintage and upcycled silver product inspired by food. Items will include ready-to-wear, accessories and lifestyle products priced from £50 to £9,000.

Brands include vintage jewellery from Jennifer Gibson and Susan Caplan; fashion archivists Dot Comme from Melbourne and OOTO London; 1950s accessories from DG Jennings; streetwear by Trading Desk, and partywear from Vout Vintage.

The pop-up interior is lined and wrapped with silver textures with a centrepiece inspired by Salvador Dalí’s cookbook ‘Les Dîners de Gala’ made by British artist Rhea Thierstein. The installation is a chandelier decorated in knives, forks, serving trays, pineapples and lobsters.
