Lands’ End announced on Tuesday the appointments of Gill Hong as Executive Vice President, Chief Merchandising Officer and Head of International, and Sarah Rasmusen as Senior Vice President of E-Commerce. Both executives will report directly to CEO Jerome Griffith.

Lands' End

Hong, who joins Lands’ End from Gap, where she was an Executive Advisor for Old Navy, will play an integral role in leading the merchandising and international businesses of Lands’ End. She will oversee merchandising strategies for all Lands’ End product categories, including men’s, women’s, kids, footwear, outerwear, swim, accessories and home, and will lead the company’s international development and expansion strategies.

Prior to working at Gap, she served as Chief Merchandising Officer of Oakley, spent 17 years at L.L. Bean in leadership roles in retail, brand strategy, marketing and merchandising, and led Nike’s global and European businesses.

Rasmusen rejoins Lands’ End as SVP of E-Commerce, and in her new role, she will lead the brand’s digital transformation, data analytics and customer experience across all digital channels.

The 20-year retail and omni-channel veteran previously held a web merchandising role at Lands’ End and held a similar role at Saks and Bloomingdale’s. She was most recently at Kohl’s, where she served as VP, Digital Merchandising, Optimization and Analytics.

The appointments come one day after the company successfully completed the closing of a new $175 million ABL Revolving Credit Facility, which matures in November 2022.
