Los Angeles-based streetwear brand Madhappy has traveled to the east coast to open a pop-up shop in New York City.

The month-long pop-up at 446 West 14th Street in the Meatpacking District stands at 4,400 square feet and carries the label’s latest collection of hoodies, t-shirts, shorts and accessories.

Madhappy celebrates its one-year anniversary with the pop-up, which opened on October 15. It features a glass exterior façade with the brand logo on the side windows and an art gallery-esque interior with white tile floors and orange panels on white walls. The Madhappy collection is merchandised on walls with corresponding color panels and is complimented by wall decals and original art made for the space.

In addition, the brand is offering several collaborations at the temporary shop including a VR experience and yoga and meditation classes on the rooftop.

Founded in 2016 by Noah Raf and Mason Spector with Peiman Raf and Joshua Sitt, Madhappy aims to bring a positive message of community and inclusiveness through its streetwear offering.

Since the brand's launch, the streetwear label has operated a two-month pop-up in West Hollywood, sold out multiple product releases and held events with Feat Socks.

Peiman Raf wrote an essay on Medium about the brand and said, “The beauty of Madhappy is that each person can have their own interpretation of it. In our opinion, Madhappy is the essence of life: two words coming together to create a life-like existence. It’s about the ups and downs and everything in between. It is recognizing that everything isn’t perfect because it shouldn’t be. We must pursue a better version of ourselves and the world around us while still recognizing that everything is fine just as it is.“

The Madhappy New York City pop-up will remain open until November 15, 2017.
