Kith is the latest brand to take over Maxfield’s pop-up space. The streetwear brand, headed by Ronnie Fieg, will take over a space in the Los Angeles retailer's Melrose Avenue location for a month, starting later this week.

Between March 4th and April 1st, the New York-based brand will launch a weekly capsule collection out of Maxfield’s pop-up space.

This is the latest of a slew of retail ventures Kith has embarked on late. The brand opened an Aspen pop-up over the holidays, a Miami location in December, a store-in-store in Bergdorf Goodman’s in September, and a pop-up with Nike in August.

Maxfield has been host to many buzzy brands looking for a West-Coast pop-up experience. Fear of God opened up the doors of a pop-up at Maxfield back in November, using the retail space to open a concept shop that combines retail floor and art gallery. Electro duo Daft Punk looked to Maxfield to open a retrospective gallery/retail space to promote Daft Punk’s Grammy performance. The store sold collaborative pieces from a full variety of designers, including Off-White, Gosha Rubchinskiy, Enfants Riches Deprimes, Darkdron, Hervet Manufacturier, and Han Cholo. Earlier this month, Vetements launched a pop-up space and party with the Los Angeles-based shopping destination.
