For the end-of-year celebrations, the US cosmetics brand Kiehl's has teamed up with the German artist Peter Max to produce a psychedelic collection inspired by pop art.

The pope of pop art, as he is called by some, has had fun redesigning the bottles for iconic Kiehl's products, inspired by his masterpiece "The Cosmic Runner". This ultra-colorful design enlivens the packaging and is enhanced by Holiday Flyer characters who have also been created by Peter Max.

Several of the brand's star products have been revisited in these vibrant colors as well as several holiday edition packages bundling products.

Beauty addicts will also be able to create their own gift packages using the various bags and boxes that have also been designed by Peter Max.

"We feel a profound admiration for Peter Max's work. Our collaboration was magic, a real source of inspiration! Kiehl's shares a lot of values found in Peter Max's work, including love, joy, solidarity and respect for the environment", says Maria Gustafson, Senior Vice President, Global Creative for Kiehl's.
