Just days after unveiling its first ever store in France, Italian fashion label Billionaire has landed in the Netherlands. The brand opened a flagship store in Amsterdam’s P.C. Hooftstraat, known as the city’s luxury fashion destination.

The Amsterdam store, which offers clothing, footwear and accessories, is part of Billionaire’s expansion plans that includes new stores in Europe, the US and Asia.

The design of the 130-square-metre flagship store is based on the brand’s new concept and is designed by architect Claudio Pironi to represent the label’s DNA. The architect is also responsible for the design of Philipp Plein stores, Billionaire’s owner since 2016, and the Philipp Plein headquarters in Switzerland.

The lavishly designed store features marble plaque windows with the golden Billionaire logo. Inside the store, a giant golden lion, the brand’s symbol, forms a centrepiece. Accessories are placed on mirror shelves and the lightning and lighter colored marble contrast with the dark ceiling and walls.

Billionaire is P.C. Hoofstraat’s latest addition following recent openings of international luxury labels Isabel Marant, Hermès and Fendi. Other available brands at the shopping street include Dior, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Oger, Jimmy Choo and Prada. Prior to Billionaire's Dutch flagship opening, the label was already available in the country via multi-brand retailers, including Bastiaans in Maastricht and e-tailer Winkelstraat.nl.
