Canadian luxury retailer Holt Renfrew is paying homage to designer Rei Kawakubo, as the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute gears up to open its spring 2017 exhibition dedicated to the founder of Comme des Garçons.

Holt Renfrew unveiled on Monday a window scheme dedicated to the designer and her brand at its Bloor Street flagship store in Toronto. The window display features six showpieces from the Comme des Garçons Spring/Summer 2017 collection, along with oversized images from the brand’s runway ensembles, also found in the Met Museum’s accompanying exhibition catalogue.
