French luxury label Hermès has unveiled its latest New York location in the Meatpacking District of Manhattan.

Located nearby the Whitney Museum and the Highline Park at 46 Gansevoort Street, the two-story, 5,330 square-foot location will reportedly offer the French label's full collections for men and women: from its famous scarves and handbags to a variety of ties, leather goods, fragrances, jewelry, and watches, as well as accessories, shoes and home decor.

Youth-focused items will also be on sale in-store including Hermès skateboards and the label's $6,000 fanny packs, a relaxed luxury option for Gen Z shoppers and Millennials seeking a sportier accessory style over the brand's classic Birkin bag. Meanwhile, it is unclear if the new store will carry Hermès beauty products in the future, a new category for the label scheduled to launch in 2020.

The new Meatpacking District store blends design elements of the French label’s roots with the historic aesthetic of downtown New York, featuring an exterior of restored ironwork and yellow brick, as well as a large skylight and window banks for plenty of natural lighting. Inside, decorative saddles and other equestrian details serve as a reminder of the brand’s saddle-maker origins.

The store will open its doors on April 5.

Counting over 300 stores worldwide, the Hermès Meatpacking store reveal comes as the French fashion house revamps its current store network to better appeal to consumers in the age of digital commerce. This includes the Hermès Avenue George V flagship store in Paris, which re-opened in November of 2018.
