Trammell said his goal is to build on the founders' success "and take Hari Mari to the next level, domestically and internationally." He has already doubled Hari Mari's sales team in an effort to build a growth-based infrastructure to better cover the brand's upcoming geographic expansion.

Prior to working at Native, Trammell was the Director of Sales for Sanuk. His twenty years of action and consumer soft goods experience also include leadership roles at Columbia, Oakley and Vans.

Hari Mari co-founder Jeremy Stewart said the company is "beyond ecstatic" to have been able to bring someone on with Trammell's career industry experience.

Hari Mari is sold at 700 lifestyle, outdoor, and specialty stores as well as online. It is also sold at Nordstrom, REI, and Zappos. The brand is currently available throughout North America including the US, Canada and Mexico, in the Bahamas and Japan.

Price points for the premium flip flops range from $45 for waterproof styles to $110 for a Nokona collaboration using top-grain baseball glove leather.
