Sylvie Zawadzki has left the French Fashion Federation, where she has worked for forty years. She will be replaced by Frédéric Galinier, formerly with Hermès and Prisma Media, as the head of the Federation's legal, social and institutional affairs department.

Frédéric Galinier - Pascal Montary

Galinier holds a Master's degree in private law and one in communications law from the Paris Panthéon Assas university, and a postgraduate diploma in press law and management from the Political Studies Institute in Rennes (France). He worked in legal affairs for the Paris National Opera, and for four years in the intellectual property office of the Hermès International group's legal affairs department. During this time, he worked with the Legal Affairs Commission of the French Fashion Federation. He has also spent eight years in charge of legal affairs for the Prisma Media group.

From 28th November, Galinier has taken over from Sylvie Zawadzki, who joined the Fashion Federation in 1976, working in various capacities before taking charge of its legal affairs department in 2006. The Federation stated that Zawadki "has worked admirably, first alongside [Federation President] Jacques Mouclier, then Didier Grumbach."
