The brand is trying to gain a foothold in the North American market, with the new general manager tasked with “consolidating the integration between Fragrance Design, a US subsidiary of the company based in Atlanta, and the Eurofragance structure”, the company said in a press release on Wednesday.

Additionally, Nonino will join the US team and integrate the company’s global organisation, defining its marketing and sales strategy for the region.

Leandro Nonino, who has a wealth of experience in multinational companies in the area of sales, will design and implement a three-year business plan in line with the firm’s 2020 goals.

Eurofragance said this move will help it strengthen its presence in the North American market, where it already operates a production plant and creative centre in Mexico.

Founded in 1990, Eurofragance is headquartered in Barcelona and specialises in the design and production of fragrances for the perfumery, personal care and home sectors. The company has a presence in 60 countries and distributes its products in five continents. It also operates subsidiaries in Turkey, Mexico, Dubai, Singapore and Atlanta, as well as production plants in Barcelona, Mexico and Singapore. In 2017, the company which employs over 280 people, made 72.2 million euros in revenue.
