Fashion-tech company DressX announced on Thursday a new partnership with American Eagle to launch three limited-edition, Earth Month-inspired digital jeans.

Each pair of digital jeans pay homage to American Eagle’s commitment to sustainability by showcasing unique water-themed superpowers.

In particular, each digital jean is inspired by the brand's Real Good jeans, which are made in factories that meet expectations for American Eagle's Water Leadership Program, including recycled and sustainably sourced cotton, and recycled polyester. Every pair of Real Good jeans saves seven collgallons of water on average, compared to the brand's past denim production.

This commitment to sustainability is in line with that of DressX, which was created by Daria Shapovalova and Natalia Modenova in July 2020 as the first ever platform for digital garments that generate zero waste, carbon footprints, and chemicals during their production.

Since its launch, DressX has become the biggest platform for digital fashion, with over 150 designers on board and thousands of items digitized and available for purchase on the website.

Earlier this month, DressX launched a collection on Roblox becoming the first pure-play digital fashion brand to drop a collection via the gaming platform. In March, it equally opened its own NFT marketplace at nft.dressx.com.
