Patti Cohen is leaving her post at Donna Karan after more than 30 years as chief of marketing and p.r. at the New York label, which has been owned by LVMH since 2001.

As reported by WWD, the founder and creative director of the brand, Donna Karan, is sorry to see her friend after 30 years go, Cohen having served as “a guiding force in [her] life personally and professionally."

Last April, Caroline Brown, who was named CEO of Donna Karan in October 2014, poached Huelas Muelas, Apple’s former creative director of communication and marketing, naming him to the new post of chief image officer picture. In this context, Cohen apparently preferred to retire in order to devote herself to "the next chapter of [her] life," she told the American newspaper.

In the midst of recovery, the fashion house’s New York team also recently named Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne, of the cutting-edge fashion label Public School, the new creative directors of its diffusion line, DKNY.
