In her new role, Singer will be tasked with leading Parlux’s strategic direction and will be responsible for developing the company’s existing portfolio of brands as well as exploring new license acquisitions.

She joins the New York-based company from Coty, where she most recently served as group vice president for new business ventures. Prior to this, she was group VP for global marketing from 2008 to 2016, and played a key role in building the fragrance businesses of top brands including Calvin Klein, Vera Wang, Balenciaga and Nautica.

A particular highlight of this period of her career was the tripling of business in the Marc Jacobs Daisy collection under her leadership.

The graduate of the University of Michigan has also previously worked at Unilever Cosmetics and Calvin Klein Cosmetics, and has been named as one of the top 50 Women Brand Marketers. She is also a member of the board of directors of Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW), having received the CEW Achiever Award in 2010.

"Lori is an incredibly strong, intuitive and talented leader with proven success in building prestigious global fragrance businesses," said Perfumania Holdings Executive Chairman Stephen Nussdorf in a release. "With a keen eye for emerging trends and building strategic partnerships, I look forward to the exciting new opportunities she will uncover as she leads the company through its next phase of growth.”

“Having worked with some of the most iconic designers in the industry, I am thrilled to be able to leverage my strengths in strategic brand building, licensing and consumer insights to guide Parlux' prestige fragrance collections,” added Singer. “There is tremendous opportunity to maximize Parlux' existing franchises and expand the vision of the company to include unique fragrance collaborations and take the company to the next level.”

Founded in 1987, Parlux currently holds fragrance licenses for brands including Vince Camuto, Pierre Cardin, Kenneth Cole, Jason Wu and Paris Hilton, among others.
