Cotton Traders returns to TV with new campaign

Cotton Traders is continuing to chase a younger audience with another new major national advertising campaign launching this spring.

The UK heritage clothing brand is set to release its ‘The Style of Your Life’ campaign to showcase the womenswear range. It will feature statement spring clothing styled five different ways.

Colour will also be at the heart of the collection, as the campaign aims to “perfectly demonstrate how colour can brighten your mood and not just your wardrobe”. 

To underpin the campaign, Cotton Traders has worked with several “top-tier influencers” to create a “stream of creative and inspiring social content, each highlighting a key item from the TV ad being styled in five ways”.

The latest national marketing drive, following more recent campaigns in spring and autumn 2021, includes 30 second TV adverts across multiple channels, together with paid social campaigns, in-store POS and press advertising in major national titles. 

The campaign was devised by creative agency Sharp “to target a younger audience base to complement the business's thriving online and retail business”.

Shona Jameson, chief marketing officer for Cotton Traders said: “Our autumn campaign was greatly received, driving brand metrics, sales and recruiting a new, younger customer to our online platforms. 

“We’re looking to continue reaching a younger audience across multiple channels as well as widening our loyal customer base. Our latest campaign really showcases the element of colour at the heart of the Spring collection, demonstrating that brightening your wardrobe really brightens your mood.”
