Condé Nast continues on its quest for diversification. After opening a bookshop in London and GQ bar in Istanbul, the group is launching itself into teaching. The course, entitled the ‘Vogue Fashion Certificate’, has welcomed 45 students from 23 countries for its first session. The ‘Vogue Fashion Foundation Diploma’ is a longer course which last one year and will start this October with 45 students.

The Condé Nast College of Design & Fashion offers lectures, seminars and studio visits that aim not to train the designers of tomorrow, but rather to prepare students a career in the fashion industry. The 10-week diploma will set students back 6,600 pounds and they year-long course will cost 19,560 pounds. At those prices, let’s hope some of the students will get a foot in the door at the publishing house…
