In the run up to the eagerly awaited launch of issue 6 of the CR Fashion Book, the former French Vogue editor has revealed images of her cheeky photo shoot that makes fun of fashion's leading luxury labels.

Givenchy, Valentino, Tom Ford, Christian Dior, Max Mara and Prada are just some of the fashion brands to come under Carine Roitfeld's radar this month.

As Paris Fashion Week gets under way, the fashion editor is set to steal the show both on and off the front row as the latest issue of her namesake fashion magazine hits newsstands on March 5.

Inside the "Jolie laide"-themed issue 6 of the CR Fashion Book, readers will discover a 74-page portfolio reinterpreting fashion advertising as playful, exuberant imagery inspired by the world's most iconic fashion houses.

What's the deal? Quirky captions such as "Dare" (for Dior), "Mad Max" (for Max Mara), "Validation" (for Valentino), "Coucou" (for Chanel) paired with slick photography by Michael Avedon.

The epic photo shoot features models Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Emrata, alias Emily Ratajkowski, dubbed the "dreamiest girl in the world", by the fashion editor.

CR Issue 6, which will also feature dual covers by Karl Lagerfeld and Anthony Maule, is available to pre-order online ($20, or £13).
