Camper owner Forch Med is back on a growth path. The Spanish conglomerate is set to end 2019 with revenues of €182.2 million, up 2% year-on-year, FashionNetwork.com can reveal. The official results will be published on March 31.

The figures reveal a bounce-back after revenues fell by 3% to €178.5 million in 2018, although sales are still lower than levels seen in 2015, when the Spanish company posted revenues of €210 million. Camper accounts for virtually all of Forch Med’s revenues.

2019 was a year of change for the Spanish shoe brand, with creative director Romain Kremer leaving the business after five years at the helm. Achilles Ion Gabriel has been named as the new creative director of CamperLab, a more experimental sub-brand launched in 2015. His first Autumn Winter 2020 collection was unveiled earlier this year.

Founded by the Fluxá family in 1975, Mallorca-headquartered Camper currently has more than 400 standalone stores and over 2,500 stockists in 40 countries. Meanwhile, Forch Med has more than 1,185 employees.
