The announcement is further proof that a new era is underway for the British fashion magazine, as incoming editor-in-chief Edward Enninful continues to reshuffle the existing team to add more people with real world experience in the industry rather than pure journalists or stylists.

He previously announced that Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, and Steve McQueen would join the publication as contributing editors, and now has revealed further high profile appointments.

Industry renowned make-up artist Pat McGrath, who has created runway looks for numerous brands, is to become beauty editor-at-large, while Val Garland Sam McKnight, Guido Palau and Charlotte Tilbury have all been confirmed as contributing beauty editors.

Garland is L’Oréal’s global make-up director; McKnight, a celebrated hairstylist; Palau has been described as one of the most prominent hairstylists within the fashion industry; and Tilbury is the founder of namesake makeup empire Charlotte Tilbury.

Meanwhile, British fashion model and founder of Gurls Talk Adwoa Aboah joins as contributing editor. Former Vogue staffer and W photography director Caroline Wolff has been appointed editor-at-large and Johan Svensson is named creative director.

“All inspirational and highly-regarded in their individual fields, I’m really excited to see my vision for the British Vogue team come to fruition," said Enninful. "I’m very much looking forward to working with everyone on forthcoming issues.”
