Thomas Børglum Jensen has been named new CFO of Danish fashion group Bestseller, one of the larges clothing retailers in Europe with a portfolio of 23 brands including Jack&Jones, Vero Moda and Only.

He spent the past 10 years at pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk, where he held a variety of roles such as finance director, general manager and vice president for business support. His most recent role was chief financial officer of the product supply division.

“Thomas will have some big shoes to fill, but I feel confident that he is the right person to do so, and I look forward to working closely with him, hopefully for many years to come. Thomas is a very solid and likeable person with a great personality and the right operational experience and mindset to lead our financial organisation and company forward,” said CEO and Besteller owner, Anders Holch Povlsen.

“Naturally, I’m very excited to take on the CFO responsibility in Bestseller, but I’m also very thankful and humbled when looking at the tasks entrusted to me by Anders and Bestseller. Bestseller is a ambitious company, but from what I learned so far about the culture, and especially the people I have met, I’m sure that I’ll be surrounded by a very competent team. I look forward to starting the journey with Bestseller and to getting to know my new colleagues,” added Thomas Børglum Jensen.

He will start in the new role on 1 August and take over from former CFO Lisa Kaae, who is moving to Bestseller owner Anders Holch Povlsen's private holding company Heartland.
