Since the brand's 2014 inception, Mon Purse has seen sales jump up 8,000 percent. The brand expects to move $20 million worth of revenue over the 2017 year. The brand received $3 million in funding earlier this year to back the brand’s new US expansion.

Lana Hopkins started Mon Purse after noticing how frustrating it was to try and find the perfect handbag. Two years later, Mon Purse offers dozens of different bags that can be altered over six billion different ways. Customers can choose from five different leather finishes, 28 different colors, and various hardware metals. Customers can also add monograms or custom phrases to any of the leather goods. Mon Purse offers a wide selection of customizable products, including make-up bags, totes, messenger bags, and mens and womens wallets.

Four weeks after order, the bags will arrive at the customer’s doorstep. Prices range from $35 for a key ring to $480 for a bowler bag. A customization fee applies on top of the base price of the product. The brand utilizes a unique 3-D builder in its websites and retailer locations to allow customers see exactly what bag they will be receiving when they design their own creation.

Since launching in 2014, Mon Purse has already made a move offline, launching several in-store shops at luxury department stores around the world, including Selfridges in London and Myer in Sydney. The brand also opened a flagship boutique in its hometown of Paddington, Australia. On December 15th, Mon Purse will open a retail space within Bloomingdale’s.
