Armin Fuchs named new Amer Sports General Manager for EMEA

A few weeks ago Amer Sports announced, the appointment of Michael White as its Chief Commercial Officer, part of the company's management reorganization.

The Finnish group, owner of Wilson, Suunto, Arc'teryx, Salomon and Atomic, has now appointed a new general manager in charge of the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions (EMEA). Armin Fuchs has been tasked to lead the Amer Sports omnichannel strategy for this multi-region. Fuchs has been with the company for 17 years, and most recently was in charge of central Europe for the group.

He will be supported by Pierre-Louis Radius, Territory GM for southern Europe, and Tero Tynkkynen, Territory GM of northern Europe. Stefan Schwarz will take over as Territory GM for central Europe, in addition to his current responsibilities as International Strategic Account Director for EMEA.

For its third quarter ended in late September, the group saw sales increase by 4% over last year, to nearly 737 million euros.
