The partnership includes a collection of collectible digital artwork that spans a series of photo portraits featuring MPTF Country Home residents, all over 80 years old, modeling products from leading accessories brands.

The portrait series was first featured in the winter issue of Ac Magazine, inspired by a series of portraits taken by Fred Siegel at the Motion Picture & Television Fund’s campus several years ago for an annual report.

Creative director, Andrew Egan, challenged Siegel to shoot a new series of portraits to capture the vibrancy and creativity of the MPTF Country Home residents and volunteers, including actresses like Maggie Abbot, and other entertainers such as Anthony Lawrence and journalist Alan Sloan. The Accessories Council (AC) conceptualized and oversaw the shoot.

“We embraced the shoot idea when we discovered that MPTF was celebrating its 100th Anniversary, and this was a perfect time to celebrate non-traditional models,” said AC president, Karen Giberson.

“At the same time, we were watching the NFT market evolve and thought there could be an innovative way for us to use the Ac Magazine images to raise money to support the 100th Anniversary of MPTF, bringing the NFT collection project to life.”

Now open to the public for purchase on Black Snow, fans can purchase the images individually or as an entire collection of images via Black Snow’s random disbursement Gumball platform.
