AZ Factory is continuing its "Amigos" project launched in March with Lutz Huelle. After the South African designer Thebe Magugu and the French-Belgian label Ester Manas, it is now the German designer's turn to interpret the spirit of the Parisian house founded at the end of 2020 by Alber Elbaz with the Swiss luxury group Richemont, shortly before the renowned Israeli-American designer passed away.

Huelle, who has been presenting his ready-to-wear collections at Paris Fashion Week since founding his house in 2000 with his partner David Ballu, is no stranger to the fashion world. He graduated from Central Saint Martins in London, worked at Martin Margiela among other brands, and was most recently creative director of the Spanish fashion house Delpozo from 2019 to April 2021. Huelle has also been a consultant for Max Mara and Brioni.

The designer immersed himself into Alber Elbaz's universe for the collaboration with AZ Factory, seeking to reinterpret his work while merging it with his own style. The two designers have only crossed paths once, but have a lot in common, such as their love of color and their ability to reinvent classic pieces.

The collection is entitled "F for Friendship," in reference to the brand's name, AZ Factory, which is reminiscent of the letters of the alphabet, and is centered around the theme of friendship. The collection will be unveiled at a fashion show during Paris Fashion Week on October 3 and is set to launch in February 2023.
