Grunder joins the company from Mees fashion where was managing director. Her experience in retail and e-commerce, as well as her entrepreneurial background fit well with the needs of the business, it said in a statement. Tumble ‘N Dry founders Jos Boin and Janneke van der Meij will stay involved as sales director and retail director.

Paying tribute to Vos and her team, it also said they doubled the brand’s turnover in the past four years and transformed it from a wholesale label to a omnichannel one that currently operates 10 physical stores and a web shop. “We regret Petra’s departure, but we want to thank her for her work, passion and leadership, with which she gave, in troubled times, the brand a strong place in the retail landscape,” parent company Brand Retail Group said.

Prior to joining Tumble ‘N Dry, Vos held positions at Procter & Gamble and Nike, among others. In addition to her role as CEO at Tumble ‘N Dry, she also led the children's clothing brands Mees, GSUS junior and Miniverse for Varova Fashion Group.

Tumble ‘N Dry was founded in 2007 and since November 2017 the label has been part of Amsterdam-based Standard Investment’s Brand Retail Group, which acquired the brand from previous owner Varova Fashion Group. Brand Retail Group’s portfolio also includes retailer Sissy Boy and online fashion store Open32.
