Tourneau, the world's leading retailer of luxury timepieces for more than a century, will spring time forward this weekend in accordance with Daylight Saving Time, which takes place at 2 a.m., Sunday, March 8. At Tourneau, the arduous task of updating the extensive watch inventory at more than 30 stores nationwide, will begin Friday morning when close to 1,000 Tourneau watch professionals will change more than 100,000 timepieces from the 100 brands carried by the retailer.

Watch holders are encouraged to visit their nearest Tourneau location for a complimentary time reset, light polish, and a five-point check which includes a water resistance and magnetization test, adjustment to the watch bracelet or strap, and the replacement of pins where necessary.

Terry Irby, Vice President of Technical Service at Tourneau, said, “Daylight Saving Time is always a good reminder to take your watch in for regular maintenance, especially as the warmer months approach and increased outdoor exposure and activities such as swimming make watches more susceptible to damage."

Ira Melnitsky, CEO of Tourneau, added, "Tourneau's commitment to best-in-class service is celebrated during Daylight Saving Time, when our stores across the country come together to reset thousands of timepieces and provide expert watch care for our valued customers."

Tourneau offers complimentary estimates on all domestic repairs.
