This summer, the American brand Tommy Hilfiger has left it to the members of The Virgins to demonstrate its values, the “cool” spirit of New York and “American youth”, in a new publicity campaign.

You could not get more dynamic; the group took up a pose in a concert scene complete with instruments and used the Brooklyn Bridge as a backdrop.

“We are really thrilled to model in the latest Hilfiger Denim campaign”, said The Virgins’ lead-singer Donald Cumming. “As a rock band, fashion is a fundamental part to our image, and items from the Hilfiger Denim collection allow us to express exactly who we are”.

Furthermore, music has been ever present in the world of designer Tommy Hilfiger and has influenced him since the beginning. “It has always been a passion, a muse for me”, he admitted. The brand has even released a collection dedicated to music, co-signed by drummer from The Ramones, Marky Ramone. This publicity campaign was therefore a natural next step.
