The 464-square-foot boutique, located at the Peninsula Beverly Hills Hotel, will carry the Hong Kong-based label’s resort and ready-to-wear lines, beach bridal and accessories.

The interior features subtle Asian influences in reference to the designer’s signature style and her home, and London and Hong Kong flagship stores with teak wood, bronze panels, luxe textiles and finishes and embossed crocodile leathers. The label’s exclusive collections will be displayed in two distinct spaces in store; one for evening dresses and another for resort wear, bathing suits and caftans.

“Los Angeles is an epicenter for luxury and fashion,” said Marie France Van Damme. “We have many clients in California and now will be able to provide an exceptional atmosphere to experience our full collection. I could not have imagined a better location for our first U.S. store. I live in Hong Kong, and my company is based there, so the Peninsula feels like a home away from home, perhaps because the Peninsula began as a family business in Hong Kong, like my own company.”

The new Los Angeles store is the label’s ninth global freestanding store. The brand currently operates freestanding stores in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, Phuket and London, and 100 retail locations at Le Bon Marché, Harrods, Selfridges, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks, and Neiman Marcus.
