Hurley has unveiled a line of high-performance swimwear for women. Marking the occasion, the surf brand, which joined Nike in 2002, has collaborated with triple-world champion surfer Carissa Moore, as well as the brand's innovative design, to produce the new technical pieces.

The high-performance collection from Hurley.

The line is comprised of three models (three tops, three bottoms) and is designed to meet the needs of varying water activities.

"What I like most about the new Hurley line are the varying styles for different morphologies and practice levels," explained Carissa Moore.

Up close, the collection aims to combine style and performance. The shoulder straps are strategically placed to ensure optimum support, regardless of the situation. Some tops have openings in the centre so that water flows rapidly to reduce drying times (each swimwear piece has been made in quick-dry fabric).

The release follows the launch of Surf Club in September 2016, an app designed by Hurley to improve surfer performance. A new dynamic seems to set in place for the brand, which saw in 2015 its founder, Bob Hurley, pass the lead baton to current chief executive, Bob Coombes.
